Dark Chocolate Bread Pudding Recipe

1 tablespoon butter
8 slices cinnamon-raisin bread
2 cups buttermilk
3 ounces dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
2 large eggs
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
