[realfood] Pork Rules

So my sister sent me an e-mail and attached was a video about a small
town restaurant that serves the most incredible appetizer -- Chicken
Fried Bacon with a side of cream gravy -- OMG -- hardened arteries
and all -- this was to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dip the Bacon in eggs

Dredge in Flour

Deep Fry

Does it get any better?

Yes:

Serve with a side of cream gravy!!

My Version:

1/2 stick of butter
Between 1/8 and 1/4 cup of flour
(Melt Butter, add flour and mix until incorporated, cook on m,edium
for about 2 minutes)
I add milk until it gets to the right consistency -- you want it a
little watery at first and it will thicken after it boils and starts
to cool.
Add:
Cracked Black Pepper
Salt to Taste

Dip the Fried Bacon in the Gravy.
