I always smell my milk before I use it even if I recently purchased it.
I usually buy 2% but lately I've been using 1% whenever I can get it.
I smell the milk for obvious reasons but I also don't have to get my
reading glasses to see if the expiration date has past, I rely on my
nose to tell me if the milk is good or not.
I had some 1% milk in my frig and the other day, April 12th to be
exact, I looked at the expiration date and it read April 5th!
My question - How accurate/reliable is the nose test for milk? Should I
continue to use "good" milk even past the stamped expiration date?
