[realfood] Re: question

Hi Sherry,

As with most things in life, the answer to your question is both yes and no. Yes you can substitute some of the flour with bran or germ but certainly not all of it or even most of it. Flour has the wonderful ability of sticking together and making little pockets for air bubbles. Wheat bran and germ won't hold together, won't rise and will generally taste pretty yucky unless used in small amounts.

Yours,
Chris
