[realfood] Baked Pear Fect Profiteroles---Ice Cream filled Pastry

PEAR FECT PROFITEROLES

1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
4 eggs
1 pint caramelized pear ice cream
4 oz bar bittersweet chocolate

Heat oven to 400 degrees. In saucepan, bring butter and 1 cup water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in flour. Cook 5 min. or until dough forms ball. Remove from heat, cool 1 min.

Beat in eggs, stirring until mixture is glossy. Divide dough into 8 balls, place on baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake 25 min. or until golden brown. Pierce bottom of puffs. Cool completely. Halve puffs. Place 1/4 cup ice cream on bottom half of each puff, replace top. Drizzle with melted chocolate. MAKES 8 SERVINGS.*
